About the Port City Vikings

 

The Port City Vikings are more than a football team — we are a movement built on discipline, opportunity, and community impact.

Based in Mobile, Alabama, the Vikings compete in the APDFL and proudly captured the 2025 East Division Championship, proving that our program is built to compete at a high level. But championships are only part of our story.

 

Our mission is rooted in something bigger.

 

We strive to provide opportunities for young men to stay on the field and off the streets — offering structure, brotherhood, accountability, and purpose through the game of football. We believe the field can be a training ground for life: teaching discipline, leadership, responsibility, and resilience.

 

The Port City Vikings are committed to working within the community to assist those who need support, guidance, and direction. We aim to partner with local leaders, families, and organizations to make a positive impact beyond game day.

 

We also dedicate ourselves to youth mentorship — guiding the next generation, teaching skills both on and off the field, and helping young men develop confidence, character, and work ethic that will carry them into adulthood.
